Scott Beach is part of St. John's Caneel Bay Resort property and land access is restricted to guests of the hotel, all others must arrive by sea and are asked not to use the hotel facilities.

Snorkeling
You can frequently see turtles at Scott Beach, and the snorkeling between Scott Beach and Turtle Bay is excellent. Be careful; there can be a very strong current as well as boat traffic in this area
