St. John USVI Sea Creatures: Caribbean Spiny Lobster (Panulirus argus)
Caribbean spiny lobsters live in the coral reef. They stay inside holes
in the reef or under ledges during the day. At night they forage
the reef in the open. If approaced they can swim backwards rapidly
to retreat back to their holes.
